ARNOLD, MO (KTVI) – The You Paid For It Team looks at new allegations of misspending by Dianne Critchlow, the former superintendent of the Fox C-6 School District. She’s accused of booking a $1,000 a night hotel room for her and her husband to attend a conference in Orlando, Florida in February of last year. The rate was dropped to $550 per night when they showed up for the conference later that June. That still far exceeded the $110 limit set by school district policy.
Investigator Elliott Davis questioned the school district’s Chief Financial Officer. He says Fox C6 is trying to recover the money that exceeded school district policy. The Missouri State Auditor is also investigating spending by school district officials.
