BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) – St. Elizabeth hospital announces plans Wednesday for a replacement hospital and renovation of the Belleville campus to transform health care in the Metro East.
Hospital leaders made the announcement to build a new state-of-the-art hospital on 114 acres of land by I-64 and Green Mount Road in St. Clair County.
The St. Elizabeth’s health center in Belleville will be upgraded to offer a same day ambulatory clinic with radiology and laboratory services, physicians’ offices and various therapies.
St. Elizabeth’s will submit its application for approval of these plans to the state of Illinois later this summer.
