ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – St. Louis police are investigating two separate shootings that happened just hours from each other.

Three women were shot Sunday afternoon  in the New Baden neighborhood.  Officers found the women the 700 block on Thrush Avenue. The victims range in age from 19 to 24-years-old.

One women was shot in the leg and died at the hospital. The second in the chest and the third victim in the foot.  Those victims are listed in critical condition.

Police are looking for the boyfriend of one of the victims.

A second shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Thrush near San Juan Avenue.   Police say several men dressed in dark clothing opened fire into a group of people.

One person was shot in the back and transported to the hospital.  There is no word on the victim’s condition.  Investigators are searching for the gunmen.
