(KTVI)- A lot of area festivals are pet friendly, but not many are actually for the dogs. One that is always meant for the four-legged family members is the Canine Carnival, held annually by the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.

At this carnival, dogs play the games and win the prizes. There will be adoptable pets on hand, kids’ activities, raffles, vendor booths, food trucks, and more.

The Canine Carnival will be held on October 5, 2014, at Tilles Park in Ladue, MO. It runs from 11:00am-3:00pm. Admission is free, but donations to the APA of Missouri are greatly appreciated.
