(KTVI) – Seven parents in Normandy are heading to court suing over the state takeover of the unaccredited Normandy School District.  The state took over the district on July 1st and formed the new Normandy Schools Collaborative.

Since the new collaborative is no longer unaccredited, many other districts have decided they will no longer accept transfer students this fall.

The lawsuit seeks to get those districts to continue accepting transfer students.
