FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL (KTVI) – A Metro East teacher is behind bars accused of being a Peeping Tom. Timothy C. Going, 43, allegedly videotaped students in the girls’ locker room of Fairfield Community High School in Wayne County, IL.
He’s also accused of recording a minor and an adult at a Super 8 Motel in Fairview Heights on November 1, 2013.
Going was a teacher and track coach at Fairfield High when he was arrested. Fairview Heights police was alerted by the Illinois State Police in May after the investigation into Going lead to evidence of the videotaping at the Super 8.
Going is being held on several charges including unauthorized video recording and taping a victim under the age of 18.
His bond has been set at $250,000.
