This Veterans’ Day, be sure not to miss out on the great deals and free meals for active, inactive, and retired military personnel! Here’s a few of your favorite eateries and shops offering deals to our men & women of service as a “Thank You.”

Note: Store locations can often opt out of special promotions. We recommend checking with the location of any of these businesses to confirm they are participating in the promotions.

–Free Meals–

Applebee’s:  Free “Thank You” meal from a special menu.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: Complimentary lunch entree, up to $9.95 value

California Pizza Kitchen: At participating locations, receive a complimentary entree from a special Veterans Day menu.

Cheeseburger in Paradise: Free All-American Burger and fries. Beverages not included.

Chick-fil-A: Get a free meal at participating locations.

Chili’s: During lunch, get any lunch combo for free. For the dinner menu, the free meal is one of seven on a special menu.

Cotton Patch Cafe: Free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken meal.

Denny’s: Free Grand Slam breakfast from 5am-noon at participating locations.

Famous Dave’s: Free meal (one meat, one side, and a corn muffin) at participating locations from 11am-4:30pm.

Golden Corral: On November 17 from 5-9pm (take note! It’s on a different day than everything else),  get a free “Thank You” dinner at the buffet.

IHOP: Get a free plate of Red, White, and Blue pancakes from 7am-7pm.

Olive Garden: Free entree from a special menu.

On The Border: At participating locations, get a free “Choose 2″ or “Choose 3″ Create Your Own Combo.

Red Robin: Get a Red’s Tavern Double Burger with fries on the house.

Shoney’s: Get a free All-American Burger, all day long.

Texas Roadhouse: Get a free lunch entree off a special menu. Bonus – the chain will donate 10% of the value of all gift cards purchased between now and December 31 to Homes For Our Troops.

T.G.I. Friday’s: Free lunch from 11am-2pm.

–Other Food Deals–

Bob Evans: Go back for seconds with all-you-can-eat hotcakes.

Carraba’s: Free appetizer of your choice.

Cracker Barrel: Free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert.  Bonus – If you’re not a vet, purchase the dessert (as well as by purchasing some other retail items), and the restaurant will donate 10% of proceeds to the USO.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Participating locations are offering up a free medium hot or iced coffee.

Einstein Bros. Bagels: Free coffee at participating locations.

Hooters: With the purchase of a drink, you can get a free entree.

Krispy Kreme: Free doughnut and small coffee.

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and drink.

Red Lobster: Through November 13, get an appetizer for free.

Ruby Tuesday’s: Free appetizer at participating locations.

Starbucks: For both vets AND their spouses, pick up a free, tall brewed coffee all day long.

Uno Chicago Grill: Free individual pizza or entree with the purchase of another. Bonus – tell your server you’re there to support Fisher House Foundation, and a portion of your check will go to the charity.

–Other Deals–

Baskin Robbins:The ice cream chain will donate 10¢ from every scoop of their First Class Camouflage ice cream to the United Service Organizations (USO).

Great Clips: Stop by and get a free haircut if you’re a vet, or get a card to redeem for a free cut by December 31. Bonus – if you’re not a vet, you can still get a free haircut card to give to a vet when you purchase a trim for yourself.

Twin Peaks: A free 2015 calendar goes to the first 100 service-members at each location.
